Outdoor Kitchen Builder on the Crystal Coast
Custom outdoor kitchens with built-in grills, stone bases and bar seating, designed and built for homes from Jacksonville and New Bern to Beaufort.
Outdoor Kitchens Designed Around How You Cook and Entertain
As an outdoor kitchen builder serving the Crystal Coast, Islandscapes designs and builds grill stations, bar counters and full outdoor kitchens that make your backyard the place everyone wants to be. We start with how you like to cook and entertain, then plan the layout, counter space and seating to fit your patio.
Near the coast, salt air, sun and humidity are hard on outdoor materials. We build on solid stacked stone bases with stainless access doors, and plan each kitchen so it connects naturally to your patio, fire pit or covered porch.

Outdoor Kitchen Questions We Hear Most
It depends on the size and layout, the grill and appliances you choose, the stone and countertop materials, and whether utilities like gas or electric need to be run. We'll meet with you, talk through your options and give you a clear quote at no cost.
Yes. We'll help you pick a built-in grill and other features that fit your budget and the way you cook, then design the base and counters around them.
With the right materials, yes. Stone bases hold up well in coastal weather, and stainless steel grills and doors resist rust when they're kept clean. A grill cover and regular wipe-downs go a long way near the ocean.
Not always. Many grills run on propane tanks stored in the base, while natural gas, lighting and outlets require running lines to the kitchen. We'll talk through what your kitchen needs during planning.
Often, yes, as long as the patio is level and in good shape. If it isn't, or if you need more room, we can extend it or build a new paver patio as part of the project.
