Outdoor Fireplace & Fire Pit Installation on the Crystal Coast
Stone fireplaces, fire pits and seating walls that keep you outside long after sunset, built for homes from Jacksonville and New Bern to Beaufort.
Stone Fireplaces and Fire Pits for Cool Coastal Evenings
Islandscapes handles outdoor fireplace installation and fire pit construction across the Crystal Coast, from a round fire pit on a paver patio to a full stone fireplace with built-in firewood storage. A fire feature gives your yard a natural gathering spot and stretches your outdoor season well into fall and winter.
Choosing between a fireplace and a fire pit comes down to how you use the space. A fireplace makes a dramatic focal point and helps block the wind, while a fire pit puts everyone in a circle around the fire. We'll help you decide what fits your yard, then design the stonework to match your home and patio.

Outdoor Fireplace & Fire Pit Questions
A fire pit generally costs less than a full outdoor fireplace, and the final price depends on size, stone choice, fuel type and any surrounding patio or seating walls. We'll give you a clear quote at no cost after an on-site visit.
Wood-burning fire features give you the crackle and smell of a real fire. Gas fire features light with the turn of a key and leave no ash to clean up, but they need a gas line or tank. We'll walk you through the trade-offs for your yard.
Rules on outdoor fires vary by town and HOA, and some neighborhoods restrict wood-burning fires. Check with your local fire department or HOA before you build, and we'll design your fire feature to fit any requirements.
Somewhere you'll actually use it, with plenty of space from your house, trees and overhangs, and some protection from the wind. We'll look at your yard's layout during the estimate and recommend the best location.
Clear out ash regularly, cover a fire pit when it's not in use to keep rain out, and check the stonework and mortar each season. A well-built stone fire feature needs very little upkeep.
